Who Is Livingseas?
Livingseas Foundation restores and protects coastal and marine ecosystems by combining large-scale coral reef restoration with community involvement and ocean education. Their coral restoration site in Padangbai is among the largest restored reefs in Bali, spanning thousands of square meters of previously degraded reef and bringing back an impressive diversity of marine life.

How OceaTerra
Supports Livingseas
To help sustain this long-term restoration work, OceaTerra provides a monthly donation under the Gold Sponsorship program to Livingseas Foundation.
These funds contribute to maintaining and expanding the coral restoration site, supporting the local restoration team, and ensuring that coral structures and planted fragments continue to thrive over time.
Why this matters

Livingseas is restoring a once-damaged reef in Padangbai by installing reef structures and planting new coral, turning rubble back into living habitat for fish, turtles, and many other marine species. Healthy coral reefs act as nurseries for marine life, support small-scale fisheries, and help protect coastlines from waves and storms, making them essential for both biodiversity and people.
Protects marine biodiversity
Restores fish populations for local communities
Strengthens coastal protection against storms
Supports sustainable tourism economies
OceaTerra's regular contribution helps keep this work going year after year, reinforcing our commitment to partnership-based conservation that benefits ecosystems and the coastal communities who depend on them.
